Catherine LaPrairie

Bio
Catherine has been singing for as long as she can remember, but only began taking formal lessons a few years ago. She loves pop music and opera, but has a special place in her heart for show-tunes, especially those written by Stephen Sondheim. When not singing, Catherine can often be found at Allegro Danceworks, where she is a competitive dancer, at The Academy of Musical Theatre, where she is a student and counsellor-in-training, or at home trying to do her homework while simultaneously watching artsy black and white movies. She is a self-proclaimed expert on all things Broadway, a connoisseur of bad jokes, and a lover of Scandinavian TV shows. Vocals is easily her favourite class of the semester and she loves writing and performing musical pieces with her friends!
