Christopher Vidal's Portfolio

Picture
Christopher Vidal is a calm and dedicated individual who regularly strives to achieve his full potential when it counts.

Vidal's parents are from El Salvador and immigrated to Canada in 1990 where he was later born in 1999 at the Ottawa general hospital. Growing up, he had begun to adopt a strong interest in music, as he was regularly exposed to numerous bands such as the Bee Gees by his father. Around the age of ten, however, Vidal's parents had separated, so he continued to live with his mother while occasionally visiting his father. As he did not research on his own or explore more types of music, his passion slowly for it began to dwindle, but never completely vanished.

Vidal attended Georges Vanier elementary from kindergarten to grade six. While not very social, he was never one to hand in assignments past the agreed deadline or bother those around him. It was during this time he began to surround himself with video games, as he was now influenced by his older brother Jonathan, who to this day is an avid gamer. When Vidal later graduated and went on to All Saints High School, his passion for music once again returned, thanks to the grade 7 and 8 music courses and several obscure composers/musicians that he had the chance to explore. Presently, Vidal is able to properly express his love for composing and performing music with the opportunities before him, notably Senior Band and Music Class.
