My Song Intro
- Title: Sunshine
- Genre and why it fits in that genre: Alternative Acoustic. The reason the song fits this genre is because it does not interest the mainstream addence and really appeals to a certain type of person. The song is really for someone who can relate to addiction and struggle. Our song also distances itself from what is usually thought of songs .The reason it is acoustic is because acoustic instruments are used in the making of the song making it an Alternative Acoustic song.
- Instrumentation: Chance on Bass, Caleb on Vibes, Ryan on Acoustic Guitar, Ms.V on vocals and Max on Drums.
- Story behind song: The song is about a man who tries to escape his worldly problems by getting high on heroin or as referred to in the song as sunshine. The man suffers with an addiction to the drug and the song talks about his struggle. The song is presented in a cheery tune but is about a very dark internal conflict about drugs and addiction.
