Biography

Rhiannon started loving music before she could talk. She couldn't sleep unless “here comes peter cottontail” or “away in a manger’” was playing on an annoyingly long loop. At the age 4 Rhiannon discovered Disney she memorized every Disney song now to man including “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious“ and every Ariel song. Although Rhiannon didn't start playing music seriously until she was 7 and took up acoustic guitar. Once she started she couldn't stop she took lessons for 3 years until she stopped to play competitive  hockey but kept playing by herself. In middle school she played the alto sax and the electric bass and participated in her schools grade 7 band, grade 8 band and concert band. In 8th grade she also got a lead role in her school’s musical, playing Veruca Salt in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and had a solo song and many small solos in other songs. She is currently in the 9th grade and back to playing the alto sax. She still has the same passion for music as when she was 2 and will for her whole life.

Story Behind the Song:

My Song Chords & Lyrics
Play you like a saxophone
Verse:
C
Long night at the bar,
Girl wants to be a star,
A#
Wants to make a living,
But she’s not getting far,
C
Playing sax in a band,
She’s doing the best she can,
A#
Been here since she was young,
Never got the upper hand,

Chorus:
C7
Brass buckle, blue jeans,
Think you’re gonna woo me,
F7
Realize you’re all alone,
C9
Sexy smile, pretty plea,
It’s cute you think you got me,
E# Maj
I’ll play you like a saxophone

Verse:
C
She plays a melody,
That says you won’t get over me,
A#
And when the night comes to an end,
She’s stuck in your memory,

Chorus:
C7
Brass buckle, blue jeans,
Think you’re gonna woo me,
