FX Factor Intermediate - The Intermediate FX FACTOR is a group of energetic and talented singers and musicians who have performed at several concerts both in the school and in the community. Many of our members are also part of the Intermediate Band, both of which keep our director, Mr. McGuire, very busy. Up until recently, the group has practised and performed as part of the high school group so this is the first time that they are performing on stage without their big sisters!

FX Factor Intermediate - Having formed when the school opened, this the eighth year of existence for the FX FACTOR. Students practice once a week and have performed at many concerts and liturgies throughout the year at the school and in the community. Students are challenged to learn their parts by ear thus adding an extra dimension to their overall musical development. FX FACTOR has been and continues to be a driving force in the culture of our school. One of our performers - Angela Johnson AKA The Young Visionary - is currently involved in recording her own material in the rap/hip hop genre. On another note, no pun intended, this will be Mr. McGuire's last year with our Glee Club as he will be retiring at the end of the year. He would like to sincerely thank all of the students who have made FX FACTOR so special, and created so many amazing memories!

Red Velvet - RED VELVET IS A JAZZ CHOIR MADE UP STUDENTS FROM GRADES 9-12. EACH YEAR WE PERFORM AT FESTIVALS AND TRAVEL TO FUN PLACES. A FEW WEEKS AGO WE VISITED NEW YORK CITY.

The "C Flats" -  The C Flats are in their 20th year as a group and during that time, they have had the opportunity to entertain audiences across North America. Most recently, the group was crowned champion of the New York City Heritage Choral Festival. The C Flats would like to thank All Saints for hosting tonight's Sing-Off and appreciate the opportunity to perform for you tonight.

OCSB Chanber Choir - The Ottawa Catholic School Board Chamber Choir started in 1996 to provide an opportunity for senior choir members to continue studying and to perform more advanced choral repertoire after being in the Children's Choir. Under the direction of its current conductors, Carla MacGregor, this group of young people from grades 8 to 12 continues to enjoy a reputation for fine ensemble work in a wide variety of styles. The choir usually performs from 9 - 11 shows in a year.In addition to annual Spring and Christmas concerts, the choir has sung at several community events such as the Olympic Torch Relay, the opening of the National War Museum, the 60th Anniversary Celebration of D Day, in the Senate Chamber of the Houses of Parliament, at the 49th Canadian National Prayer Breakfast and at the closing ceremonies of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission at Rideau Hall. This year the chamber choir sang the opening song with Eric Church at the Canadian Tire Centre. The choir is committed to singing in concerts which raise money for local food bank organizations and this year alone were part of two concerts which raised over $9200 for local food agencies. The choir is looking forward to being at the Sing-Off for the first time!
